Le Magazyn is a concept store born from the desire to bring the best of “Brazilian Bossa” design to LA.
The Pacific Avenue store features a unique selection of handcrafted home goods, bags and shoes, liquid porcelains, one of a kind jewelry, and cashmere, as well as mid-century and contemporary furniture and art. While the pieces do not all hail from Brazil, most items are made in Brazil by artisans and craftspeople dedicated to the best materials and enduring quality.
Le Magazyn is carefully curated by founder Ana Kozak, who moved with her family from Sao Paulo to LA a few years ago.
“Our goal is to offer great quality products that have longevity. Through socially conscious purchasing, we will know how and where each product is produced.” Le Magazyn wants to honor the craftsperson behind each piece, introducing clients to the creative & manufacturing processes. “We believe in the importance of highlighting originality and differentiating each product represented from the mass produced found in abundance elsewhere.”
Part art space, part boutique, the store is a cozy place to spend time. “When I first envisioned the space, my idea was to have a comfortable environment where people would love to spend time enjoying the ambiance, leafing through a book and appreciating the special handmade items. I think we have created just that!”
Le Magazyn is also proud to exclusively represent Espasso Gallery in California, carrying the greatest Brazilian furniture designers like Sergio Rodrigues, Jorge Zalszupin, Carlos Motta, Arthur Casas, Claudia Moreira Salles, and Zannini among others.
